Xpeng, a leading electric vehicle manufacturer, has taken a giant leap forward in robotics with the unveiling of its next-generation Iron humanoid robot at the 2025 AI Day. This cutting-edge robot is a testament to Xpeng's commitment to innovation and its vision for the future of robotics.

The Iron humanoid robot is a marvel of engineering, equipped with three Turing AI chips developed by Xpeng, delivering an impressive 2,250 TOPS of computing power. This powerful AI core enables the robot to perform advanced tasks with remarkable naturalness and fluidity.

One of the key innovations is the addition of passive degrees of freedom at the toes, which allows Iron to achieve a light and gentle stride, mimicking human movement with remarkable precision. This development comes as Li Auto, another prominent player in the industry, has also decided to venture into space and wearable robotics, according to a local media report.
